Diverse American Style: East Coast and West Coast

As a melting pot of world culture, the United States is rooted in a profound immigrant culture. The American style has evolved with history. Today, the style is no longer restricted by formalities, but presents a broad-minded attitude.

The United States has a vast territory, and the cultural atmosphere on the east and west coasts is different. Exploring the authentic American style from regional phenomena, the fashionable Manhattan style of New York, the luxurious and leisure villa style of Southern California, the elegant Art Deco style of Hollywood's colorful era, and the lazy Hamptons style of Long Island Sound all make people feel as if they are traveling in person and experiencing the style journey of the East and West Coasts of the United States

01. New York's East Coast: Fashionable Manhattan Style

The American TV series "Gossip Girl" takes place here. Manhattan, New York City, is a renowned financial and commercial district, where the residents are invariably dressed in suits and ties, displaying exceptional elegance. The home's natural and elegant style, reminiscent of a film or TV series, is reminiscent of a setting. This 4,839-square-foot residence features a white base, accented by darker tones like brown and coffee, creating a sense of grandeur. A graceful archway extends from the entrance, creating a curved arc through the hallway, creating a grand and imposing atmosphere reminiscent of a top-tier boutique hotel. The sheen of the fine steel is complemented by a vibrant satin blue sofa and rouge red armchair, creating a contrasting effect of understated luxury.

The design draws inspiration from the yuppie vibe of New York's Midtown, skillfully blending loft and neoclassicism to create a unique ambiance that blends the old and the new, the rugged and the classic. The ceiling boldly features exposed piping, allowing for smooth flow and creating a spacious and open visual experience. Elegant, clean lines are interspersed with American neoclassical elements, avoiding an overly modern feel. Paired with carefully selected furniture from the renowned American brand Restoration Hardware, the space evokes a rich, early 20th-century American classic style. This juxtaposition of yuppie and neoclassical elements creates a refreshingly American aesthetic.

02. Long Island Sound: A Lazy Hamptons Vacation

Located southeast of Long Island City, New York, the Hamptons are a popular summer getaway for the East Coast's upper crust and a frequent haunt of the actress in "Sex and the City." The villas, all white walls and bright colors, emphasize a clean, simple design, creating a unique holiday atmosphere.

White, accented with pale blue, creates the island-inspired atmosphere the homeowner longs for. Wide-leaf blinds filter in natural light, bathing the space in warm sunlight. A Ralph Lauren blue plaid armchair adds a touch of Hamptons-style beach living, creating a calm and relaxed holiday atmosphere and a laid-back American style.

The classic Hamptons style isn't always defined by its blue and white color scheme. This three-generation residence also embraces a bright, neutral palette, avoiding darker tones. It's like "moving the house into the sunlight," letting the bright light permeate the space, creating a visually brighter and more spacious atmosphere. The illusion of being transported to a turquoise sea, azure sky, and a beach is evoked, blending picturesque images of yachts, white clouds on the beach, and country houses to create a relaxed, American Hamptons-inspired atmosphere

03. West Coast Southern California Luxury Leisure Villa Style

The West Coast of the United States is most famous for its California sunshine. Los Angeles, the largest city in the West, is located here. Along the winding coastal highway of Palos Verdes, you can see elegant single-family villas nestled against cliffs and rocky shores, with the magnificent Pacific Ocean right before your eyes and the enchanting afterglow of the sunset, which has a completely different style from the East Coast. This project is like an American mansion located there, bringing the grandeur and leisure of a villa on the West Coast of Southern California. The wooden house-style roof frame structure above the living room highlights the grandeur and elegance of the high ceiling. The open entrance and hall layout uses arched glass doors to enhance the permeability of the space, allowing daylight to pour in from all directions; and the ironwork extends into soft curves, forming a sense of sparse and dense lines. The living room floor is made of dark brown wood flooring, and the classic marble fireplace, leather sofas, and exquisite crystal chandeliers create a unique example of elegance.

This nearly 100-square-meter floor space makes people feel completely relaxed and at ease. The high ceiling of the living room is made of wood, which is shaped like the roof structure of a log house in the mountains, highlighting the atmosphere of leisure and vacation, and showing the elegance of the house. In order to create the momentum of a spacious house, the entrance was changed to a double-line design, and the view was unobstructed as soon as you enter the door. Iron and glass were added to define the space and sculpt charming lines. An American fireplace in the living room brings a warm image, and the two large paintings collected by the owner are matched. The symmetrical shape is more elegant. A bar is designed next to the large dining table, which is like enjoying afternoon tea in a star-rated hotel, adding a stylish and noble leisure atmosphere
